Topic 7 questions

Question 1

The idea of a machine that can think is an awesome idea, the potential of this sort of technology is endless, this type of tech when given information and can process it like any of us but too much can be a harmful thing in the way of AI robots because it may consider itself superior to us. But a different view point is that can may see a different angle of problems that our society currently faces a good example is AI in the medical industry it may solve problems to cures much faster than the human brain

Question 2

The turning test is a test created by Alan turning during the 1950s what it was exactly was a huge machine that had an ability to exhibit that was equivalent to that of a human. At the time of its creation the machine was a huge advancement in computer science and the first of its kind. Its purpose was to deviser Germanys secret code during the second world war and it had fulfilled its purpose and shortened the second world war by a few years and saved thousands of lives.

An argument about the turning test is the creation of such a machine will take away from human knowledge and eventually render humans nothing in the way of thinking for ourselves. Such a machine will eventually take over the use of human brains in the since it can think for itself soon enough there will be a full functioning machine that will be able to completely control itself

Question 3

Virtual agents do have the potential to deliver amazing customer service over the web, once developers of these agents create a way for these to become more adaptive to the knowledge it is given by the company and its ability to understand the human it is dealing with. I have a few bad negative experiences with virtual agents because of the fact that the information that it was giving was very dull and generic it had continually pointed me in the direction of the company’s hotline but on the other hand I have a few good expenses with virtual agents in relation to tech questions they had given me the exact information needed to get everything back in working order

TOPIC 5 NOTES

Refection’s of online business models is that it ranges from an easy models to more advanced models and easier online business model that is probably the easiest is that of e-commerce which is simply buying goods and selling them on the internet for a profit. Another is known as content which allows pages like newspapers ect to place adverts on their pages which pus digital product in the faces of the consumer another is support what this allows is that if a online customer requires help in any way the longer they can be kept on the site the better it is for the online store it saves the store money, lead generation captures personally identifiable information which can be used at a later date by the entity or pass it on

Digitation over the past few years has changed the ways in which business interact with each other and with the current world at large, the internet has changed the way products eg a lamp interacts with us and interact with it a product could be given a sensor in this case a lamp and provide necessary information to us about things like how long has it been on, how much it has used ect

The canvas business model allows 9 different subsections to mould into one tool that can be used by a range of different people in the business world

Technology has changed the way in which business gets their product in front of the right people at the right time this is so that the market can be easily used by the majority people that have access to the web

In summary, due to the increase in advancements of technology in recent years it has become much easier for business to sell their products and services but at the same time the way in which business sell themselves is becoming progress inly complex due to the rapid change of media
