I had completed the google Analytics fundamentals course

Question 1

Visits mean how many times people have come to the same webpage

Page views refers to the amount of times a certain page has been accessed

The differences between these can be such as that with page views it refers to a particular page and looks at those numbers whereas visits is just the whole number of people coming through. (google anayltics , 2017)

Through google analytics things that can be tracked are the language, type of browser, device that they are on, operating system, traffic source (google anayltics , 2017)

b) things that be tracked over time are for example what is the most popular page on your site (google anayltics , 2017)

c the data that can’t be tracked are outside the scope of language, type of browser, device that they are on, operating system, traffic source (google anayltics , 2017)

high bounce rate

high bounce rate is simply the percentage of single page visits to a cetain page (Optimeize smart , 2017)

Key word

a word that serves as a key, as to the meaning of another word, a sentence,passage, or the like. (Dictionary.com , 2017)

Average Page depth

Page depth is the average number of pages that your visitors view during a single session (Chron , 2017)

Click

Computers. the act of rapidly depressing and releasing a button on a mouse orother input device, usually the left-hand button, as to select an icon. (dictionay.com , 2017)

Cookie

Computers. a message, or segment of data, containing information about a user,sent by a web server to a browser and sent back to the server each time thebrowser requests a web page. (Dictionary.com, 2017)

Impression

a strong effect produced on the intellect, feelings, conscience, etc. (Dictionary.com, 2017)

 

Hyperlink

an electronic link providing direct access from one distinctively marked place in a hypertext or hypermedia document to another in the same or a different document (Merriam-Webster , 2017)

Navigation

the act or process of navigating (Dictionary.com, 2017)

Pageview


one
 viewing of a web page; a single visit (Dictionary.com, 2017)

 

 Session

a single continuous sitting, or period of sitting, of persons so assembled (Dictionary.com , 2017)

URL

Is the address of a word wide web (Dictionary.com, 2017)

Vistior

A visitor is someone who goes onto a site (google anayltics , 2017)

Visitor session

A visitor session is the period of time to which a person that spends on a site  (google anayltics , 2017)

Comparison shopping
